Usando o Finch para conversar com os amigos

Hoje meu amigo Djavan me apresentou o Finch, um mensageiro instantâneo multi-protocolo capaz de ser executado em terminais que não possuem interface gráfica.
Dentre as funcionalidade que ele suporta estão: envio de arquivos, mensagens de ausência, e notificacoes das ações do seu contato na janela em que vocês estão conversando.
Ele realmente não fica devendo nada em relação a qualquer outro IM.
Caso possua o apt ou aptitude instalados, execute:
# sudo apt-get install finch
ou
# sudo aptitude install finch
Em caso de dúvidas, basta consultar o man:
$ man finch

No Microsoft Messenger Again!

Today I sent an e-mail to my friends saying that I´m not going to use Microsoft Messenger again!
The principal motivation was the fact that Microsoft prohibited the “evil countries”, like Cuba, North Korea and some others, to use their IM.
I think this is a stupid decision and broke the freedom of Internet users. Because it, I´m going to use only Jabber now!
